My mission is to continue to learn and grow as a user experience professional who creates intuitive and creative interfaces. My vision is to do that by utilizing over 15 years of skills and experience, honesty, integrity and empathy.

User Experience Specialist

Examples of Accomplishments: 

  • Lead UX Designer for a project that received an Honors Award from the DCS (Deputy Commissioner, Systems) for recognition of outstanding teamwork in creating, streamlining and transforming the modernized summary and detailed earnings web screens for over 40,000 front line employees to support claims

  • Volunteered to assist in company-wide technology symposium where I contributed to a presentation on customer/user journey mapping

  • Assisted with a project for hte CMS on the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI). Performed a heuristic review, conducted user interviews, presented recommendations which when implemented resulted in a reduced help desk call volume

  • Volunteer and communications co-chair of the Baltimore Northrop Grumman Women's International Network

Web Design/User Interface/Front-End Developer Responsibilities:

  • Built conceptual models, mock-ups, wireframes and prototypes from requirements

Business Analyst Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborated with stakeholders and users to determine business goals, user needs, gather requirements, determine as is/to be processes 

  • Defined solutions using research; stakeholder interviews; needs analysis; personas; user stories and use cases 

  • Created wireframes and mock-ups as needed using requirements 

  • Translated user requirements into functional requirements for developers/project team 

  • Communicated effectively with a diverse group of executives, managers and stakeholders

Examples of Accomplishments: 

  • Applied UX/UI/BA knowledge in the redesign of agent portal pages to incorporate user needs, business needs, improved experience, updated technology and functionality. Contributions include creating an 80+ page wireframe/prototype using Axure (; writing functional requirements.

  • Defined use cases for redesign of agent portal homepage: created wireframes for multiple use cases; captured requirements; created guidelines for visual appearance and branding; developed testing guidelines. The use cases identified functionality that new developers would otherwise may have missed, which would have caused delays in the project launch. 

  • Collaborated with stakeholders to define requirements and content for an Investors microsite; transformed requirements into prototypes; worked with outside vendors and in-house developers to implement functionality in time for the launch of the (a short 3-month timeframe).

  • Conducted and managed UAT testing for new iPad application. Coordinated meetings, managed defects in ALM system, communicated between developer and testers
